How can I update credit card for subscription license renewal?

All payments and invoicing are handled by MyCommerce / ShareIt. And, if you need to change the credit card or other payment information for the upcoming subscription payment, you need to do it via the account on MyCommerce. To access your account on MyCommerce, check out this article.

Why is tax added to the checkout price?

Various countries require a collection of value-added taxes for online sales. Some countries issue corporate use VAT ID, and if you use that ID during checkout, VAT will not be applied to the price. Depending on the country VAT can be known as GST (goods and services tax).

Here is the list of countries that require VAT (or other taxes):

  • EU Countries (15% – 30%)
  • United States (depending on customer location, some states can have more than one tax added, counties and cities may require taxes)
  • Switzerland (7.7%)
  • Singapore (7%)
  • Belarus (20%)
  • Chile (19%)
  • Canada (5%)
  • Canada / Quebec (9.975%)
  • Norway (25%)
  • Iceland (24%)
  • South Korea (10%)
  • Russia (20%)
  • New Zealand (15%)
  • Japan (10%)
  • Taiwan (5%)
  • Australia (10%)
  • India (18%)
  • Turkey (18%)
  • South Africa (15%)

The list of countries and states will be expanded in the future, depending on the local VAT, GST (or other sales tax) laws. Values provided in this list can be changed at any time, and they are an approximation only. Other countries might have taxes that are not listed here. The real tax rate is displayed at checkout.

Where can I get the invoice for my purchase?

All payments and invoicing are handled by MyCommerce / ShareIt. MyCommerce is the seller on record, and they are issuing invoices. When you complete the purchase, you will get an email from MyCommenrce containing the invoice, and it is important to keep these emails safe or download the invoice for your archive. What types of payment do you accept?

All purchases are handled by MyCommerce / ShareIt and they accept many types of payment: credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB), wire transfer, check, cash by mail, PayPal, WebMoney, Konbini and AliPay.

Some of the payment types availability depends on your country of residence.

Do you store my credit card information?

We don’t receive or store any credit card information during your purchase. Transactions are handled completely by MyCommerce ShareIt and we never see any credit card numbers or other secure information about your payment method.

I don’t live in EU, why is VAT added on the checkout to the purchase price?

The system for detecting your country depends on the geolocation system to determine from which country purchase is made. This is mostly done through IP country detection. But, if you are using VPN service, and you set VPN to mask your IP with some EU country, during checkout you will be detected in that country, and VAT will be added. When making a purchase, do not use VPN.

After one day, why I have still not received emails from Dev4Press?

Dev4Press website sends license emails and product download information within minutes after purchase is processed by the payment company. if you don’t get these emails for more than 24 hours, there are two usual reasons:

  1. Your email client software has classified Dev4Press as spam or junk, and you should check your Spam/Junk folder in email client for emails sent from Dev4Press Network <noreply@dev4press.com>.
  2. Your email provider has blacklisted Dev4Press.com and refuses to accept and deliver emails sent from Dev4Press.com. In that case, use the Contact Form and we will contact you from other email address about product delivery.

How long will take until the payment is processed?

Payment processing depends on the payment method, and be completed within minutes, or it can take few hours. As soon as the payment is processed, Dev4Press website will receive notification and create an account (if needed) and assign purchased license. Once this is done, notification emails will be sent to you.

If this takes too long (one day or more), contact us and include purchase ID and email you used.

Can I downgrade my license?

No. If you, for instance, purchased Developer license, you can’t downgrade it to Personal or Business with refund. You can wait for the license to expire, and then purchase new license.
