How can I translate plugin to my language?

All Dev4Press free and lite plugins can be translated via WordPress.org and their translation services. Each plugin on WordPress.org has support for translation, and you can get to it through the plugin Developer panel. To translate plugins on WordPress.org, you need a WordPress.org account. But, if you want to handle translations on your own, each plugin has a POT file with the list of all translation strings. More information here:

Can I translate plugin to my language?

Yes. POT file is provided as a base for translation in the root folder for each plugin. Translation files should go into languages directory, and WordPress must be set to your language to load the file. As an alternative, translation file can go into wp-content/languages/plugins directory.

The file name for translated and compiled MO file must be the same as POT file with the addition of language code: {plugin-name}-{language-code}.mo.

Where can I find more information about rating shortcodes?

All the shortcodes can be generated using the Shortcodes Builder menu in the GD Rating System admin side menu, and you can simply select the values you need, and the builder will prepare the shortcode you can copy and use where you need them.

Does the plugin works with BuddyBoss Platform?

We do not support BuddyBoss Platform integration for any of our bbPress related plugins.

Dev4Press plugins for bbPress right now all require bbPress 2.6.2 or newer version, and old 2.5 versions of bbPress are no longer supported! BuddyBoss uses very outdated bbPress 2.5.12 (from 2017), and this means that Dev4Press plugins for bbPress will not allow activation with bbPress 2.5.x or BuddyBoss.

Even if the BuddyBoss gets updated to bbPress 2.6 or newer, we have no plans of supporting BuddyBoss with our plugins due to the changes they made to bbPress making proper support impossible.

This FAQ will be updated when something with bbPress or BuddyBoss changes in the future.

TLDR: Dev4Press plugins for bbPress can’t be used with the BuddyBoss platform.

Can I get refund for purchased product if it doesn’t work on my website?

We want all our customers to be satisfied with all our plugins and addons, so, we offer refunds to any unsatisfied customers up to 30 days after the purchase was made. For more information, check out our Refund Policy. After 30 days, a refund can’t be issued.

And, in many cases, the plugin doesn’t work due to the conflict with other plugins or themes. In many cases, we can fix our plugins to solve the issue, but very often, the problem originates in the third-party plugin that we can’t fix, and in such case, you need to consult the author of the third-party plugin.

Why is Google not showing rich rating snippets for my website?

GD Rating System is adding a fully functional and standardized rich snippet for rating or review, and you can test all your posts to confirm that the rating snippet is correct. But, there is no way to influence Google to show the snippet inside search results. There is no way to know how, why and when Google displays rich snippets and even big websites like IMDb or Amazon very often don’t have the rich snippets displayed.

Check out this user guide about setting up the rating rich snippets.
