Can I upgrade from Dev4Press free plugins for bbPress?

Yes. If any of these plugins (GD bbPress Attachments, GD bbPress Tools and GD bbPress Widgets) is active, GD bbPress Toolbox will disable them on activation.

Version 5.0.x of GD bbPress Toolbox Pro doesn’t disable the free plugins, and you need to disable them before activating GD bbPress Toolbox Pro. This will be addressed in 5.1 release.

Does plugin works with WordPress MultiSite installations?

Yes. Each site in the network can activate and use the plugin.

Can I translate plugin to my language?

Yes. POT file is provided as a base for translation in the root folder for each plugin. Translation files should go into languages directory, and WordPress must be set to your language to load the file. As an alternative, translation file can go into wp-content/languages/plugins directory.

The file name for translated and compiled MO file must be the same as POT file with the addition of language code: {plugin-name}-{language-code}.mo.

Can I get refund for purchased product if I am not satisfied with it?

No. If you are not sure about our products, before you make a purchase, you can request to test it through our test website. That way you can see if the product is right for you or not. If you want to test any product, you need to fill request demo form, and demo website will be created within 48 hours.

How long will take until the payment is processed?

Payment processing depends on the payment method, and be completed within minutes, or it can take few hours. As soon as the payment is processed, Dev4Press website will receive notification and create an account (if needed) and assign purchased license. Once this is done, notification emails will be sent to you.

If this takes too long (one day or more), contact us and include purchase ID and email you used.

I have some errors important for my question. How can I add error log?

You need to get error log from your server, and you need to attach that file with the topic. Always make archive from the log (ZIP is preferred archive type), and never attach raw, uncompressed log, they can be quite big. If that doesn’t bring the size down, it is best to attach only partial log, especially when the same errors repeat all the time.

What information should I provide when starting new topic?

Each topic has extra fields where you need to enter information listed bellow.

  1. Plugin or theme version. For theme also include version of xScape Theme Framework.
  2. WordPress version. If you are using unstable beta or development version make a note of that in the topic content.
  3. Version of the PHP on your server. Enter exact version number
  4. Select correct topic type.

Do not use general terms like ‘current’ or ‘latest’.

Fatal Error – Allowed memory of size ### bytes exhausted…

This is a common server related issue and it means that your server is not giving enough memory for executing PHP script. This can be solved by increasing PHP Memory limit.

In some cases, server doesn’t allow setting memory limit over a preset hard limit, and such limitation can cause problems with some plugins that need more memory for some operations. In that case, you must contact your hosting provider for expanding the limit, or change host.
