Ah! That was the problem, I hadn’t configured the settings for my custom post time in rich snippets settings. Thanks!!
Thanks for the extra direction Millan, I’ll dig deeper into my terms.
I attached a screenshot of the ID’s I’m using (from the edit term page). This tag_id, it’s the correct one to use?
Strange, for some reason it’s not working for me when using multiple ID’s.
I have a page that is categorized under 4 terms (in 2 different custom taxonomies).
The tag_id’s are: 98, 137, 138 and 143
But when I add all 4 ID’s into the widget (-98,-137,-138,-143) I still see the page listed in my sidebar.
Could it have something to do with the custom taxonomies?
I updated to 3.2 and have a quick question about how to exclude ID’s from the stars rating list widget.
In the term ID’s field on the content tab of the widget, I see that I can exclude a term by adding a negative value like -98, works great. But it doesn’t seem to be working when I try to exclude multiple ID’s, for example this doesn’t work: -98,-137,-138,-143
Is there a different method for excluding multiple terms?
Ah, I see. Thanks!
This new 3.2 is going to really offer everything I need.. the term exclusions, the ability to store multi ratings as postmeta and the ability to choose different multi stars review series on different pages. It will be like Christmas 🙂
Okay great, thanks for the info!
How/where can I specify terms to include?
Yes when go back to previous version everything works fine again.
I will try to reset all cache and then will contact you directly.
Thanks for your help with this.
I’ve reviewed the logs and (with the help of my host) found that my 502 errors are a result of a segmentation fault. The problem appears to be a conflict with another plugin that I’m using.
Both GD Rating and this other conflicting plugin are major plugins that I can’t really run my site without.
Is there a way for you to help? Or will I need to hire a developer to customize something so both plugins can work together?
I updated both but still get the error 502 pages.
So I rolled back my server again and deactivated both, updated both, then reactivated but am stilling getting the errors.
Ah, need to update both. Ok I’ll give it a go.March 6, 2018 at 10:50 pm in reply to: Possible to show different review series on different pages? #58302
Okay no problem! Looking forward to 3.2 in late April / early May 🙂March 6, 2018 at 8:56 pm in reply to: Possible to show different review series on different pages? #58297
Ok I enabled this addon and can see the tab now.
I created a new Stars Series and selected it as the rating method for a specific post. But the original Stars Series still shows in the Multi Stars Review tab.
How do I get the new Stars Series options to show for this post?March 6, 2018 at 6:34 pm in reply to: Possible to show different review series on different pages? #58293
I attached a screenshot of my meta box. The first tab only shows Rich Snippet settings.
Do I need to enable the tab you’re talking about?March 6, 2018 at 12:31 am in reply to: Problem with page title display in stars rating widget #58288
I believe a problem on my end caused this, you can disregard.March 3, 2018 at 5:14 pm in reply to: Can the Stars Rating value be stored as post meta? #58269
That’s great news! I’ll wait for 3.2. Thanks!March 2, 2018 at 5:20 pm in reply to: Can the Stars Rating value be stored as post meta? #58250
How long until 3.2 is released?
Just so I know if I should wait or hire a dev to customize.
