Average Score from review sites

I am planning to create Average Review score based on major Review Sites like Google Business profile, Yelp, BBB, Bird Eye. Only Admin will create these reviews by import using ALL Import plugin, users should not be able to rate and post reviews.

Instead of using usual categories like: Service Quality, Price, Support … I will need to be able to display ratings from 0 to 5 from each review platform mentioned above. In some cases some companies(listings) may not have reviews at all(let say YELP), usually the score is calculated for example Google(5), Yelp(4) & BBB => (5+4+3)/3=4
In case company(listing) doesn’t have reviews in Yelp at all I would like the calculation process to skip/omit missing values(zeros) and be: (5+0+3)/2=4.

Is this something I can achieve with your plugin, ether by changing plugin settings or using some snippet? If Not, would it be possible to import categories ratings: Google(5), Yelp(4) & BBB In-dependably from Average Score(4) so the total score is a value I create and represents the result I am after? I am open to any work arounds.

    Hello,

The plugin doesn’t have any way to import data from third party services, and there are no plans to implement something like that. Now, Pro plugin has Multi Ratings Pro addon that gives you ability to handle rating with multiple criteria, but it still there is no way to import data from Google or Yelp.

In theory, the import can be developed, but again, that is not planned for the plugin to have, and you would need to develop import yourself, or hire developer to do it.

Milan, thank you for your reply.
    1. Actually I will be collecting review/score data from 3rd party services (google, yelp, …) my self in a spreadsheet. What I meant by import is to be able to import that data from the spreadsheet to the plugin either with your plugin or using WP All import. Is this possible?
    2. My main concern is to be able to handle overall score calculations when I miss data from some 3rd party services as explained above. Do you think I can adjust this overall score either manually entered, by plugin settings or using a snippet?
    3. Can the plugin be used only by the admin to display the ratings and overall score to visitors, without letting them rate listings?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    1. There is no tool to import data in this way. It would have to be custom build.
    2. Multi Ratings methods require all elements to be present. But, there are filters in the code that can override the calculations, and that again would need to be custom build.
    3. Yes, plugin can sshow ratings as inactive to disable voting.
