Hi,

I’m considering GD Ratings System for a couple of use cases and it would be very helpful to know if you can have multiple ratings configured for the same type of item. Specifically, would it be possible to set up both a publicly visible “Reactions”/emoji type feature, as well as an visible-to-admins-only “flag this post” feature on bbPress replies?

Hi,

The plugin doesn’t have any rating feature that can be considered for flagging the posts. Our GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin has a feature specifically developed for that called ‘Report Topics and Replies’ allowing users to report posts, and the admins can act on these reports.

Thanks @MillaN ! We use that plugin already but not that feature, and I think it can be used for our needs (which is to let anyone on our team flag user questions as needing a reply, and then “close” them once answered).

It looks like if we just hide the “This post has been reported” label from non-admin users with CSS, this can work. Thank you!

Hi,

For reported topics/replies, message about it being reported is optional, you can disable it in the Report feature settings. And, by default, it is visible to moderators only. Check out the settings for the report feature.
