Can you provide a tutorial on how to build a child theme to set personal value of H1 – H2 …. tag, or something you think are more clear in a tutorial.

thank you

N.B. what is not clear is which part of the child are not upgraded after new releases. Or more in general how upgrade work when there is a child theme.

xScape can’t have child themes. Framework is too complex to allow for simplicity child themes provide. If you need any change to the styling, use styles. Each theme has 10-20 styles already built in and it’s easy to add more. I will write short tutorial on how to make new style, and publish it later today.

    Hi,

Firstly I must say that I have not started yet with Xscape (!). I still have to find the time to evaluate this framework in depth to be sure that fits my necessities (easy to use and customization among other things). Anyway, one of the things I’m more concerned are update issues.

As far as I know, using Child Themes is the best way to not break anything when updating a Theme.

Since your Framework does not support child Themes, how are customizations and preferences preserved? Can you provide any reference about this?

    Thanks,
    Diego

    Milan,

The link to the tutorial (http://dv4p.com/15x) is broken.
