Custom shortcodes not working with plugin activated – newest update

I have some custom shortcodes in my functions.php file for posting videos and etc. With the GD bbPress Tools plugin activated, the shortcodes do not work properly and just output the text from the shortcode function. With the plugin deactivated, they work fine.

They used to work fine up until the most recent update to the plugin last week…now they are broken.

Will this be fixed in a future release? (soon?)

There were no changes to the plugin in this area for a year now. Plugin adds own shortcodes to mimim BBCodes, and most likely the conflicts are the names of the shortcodes. What are the names for shortcodes you are adding?

Currently they’re called ‘youtube’ and ‘vimeo’ in the function. The shortcode when entered looks like

    –[ –vimeo id=”XXXXX”–]–

    (minus the — dashes)

Yes, my plugin registers these as own shortcodes (for BBCodes support). Next plugin version will have options for disabling some shortcodes.
