I’m trying to configure the rich snippets with my recipes and articles and I’m having trouble. I’ve attached an image of a snippet failing on the google search page.

GD Rating System Pro forum is available to GD Rating System Pro license owners, you can’t post there if you don’t buy the plugin license. I have moved this topic into a forum for Free version of GD Rating System.

First of all, there is no way to influence Google to use a rich snippet in search results. No one really knows how the rich snippets are used, and how Google decides to use them. Even worse, some of the more complex snippets (like Recipe, Product…) require tons of other data included in the snippet too (for the recipe: ingredients, preparation steps….). So, even if the snippet you generate with GD Rating System is valid, if you want to have full recipe snippet, it is not enough.

GD Rating System Pro includes completely rewritten snippets support to address the major point in the way Google processes some of the snippets, and that is a need for specialized information. So, Pro version has templates for each currently supported snippet type, including recipe: https://addons.dev4press.com/recipe-rich-snippet-addon/features/. For this, you need GD Rating System Pro. Even with that, there is no way to guarantee that Google will use snippet data, you can read more here: https://support.dev4press.com/kb/user-guide/rich-snippets-for-ratings/.
