If the user does not types any text (but attachs an image), the site reloads without the image and unfortunately without an error message. If text is typed in, the attachment is adopted. The problem exists for new entries and as well for replies. How can the image be taken with an “empty entry”?

It can’t, bbPress requires for post to have some text at least.

Some users do not understand what the problem is. Is it possible to implement an error message that the user knows what he’s doing wrong?

As far as I know bbPress shows the error message after emtpy post is submitted.
