Sorry.. am having trouble migrating. What am I doing wrong?

1. I purchased a fresh license for bbpress toolbox and got the email with the download link and license code
2. I downloaded the latest version and installed it by uploading WordPress reported there was already an installation and asked me whether I wanted to replace the old one. I said yes. During installation I got an error message “Could not copy file. gd-bbpress-toolbox/vendor/michelf/php-markdown/test/unit/MarkdownExtraTest.php” but I hope that was not fatal?
3. When I go to the license in settings, I see just my old license. I tried pasting in the new one but nothing happens.
4. When I view my Dev4Press licensing, it says “Freemius Account Not Found

   There is no Freemius User Account found associated with your email on Dev4Press website and Dev4Press Freemius Store.” I am using the same email address as before.

Help please.

Hello,

You have most likely downloaded the old Dev4Press version of the plugin, if you see old license activation. It is essential to download and install Freemius version of the plugin from Freemius User Panel or the email you got yesterday after purchasing. As for the message about Freemius account, logout from Dev4Press website, and log back again. It can happen that the website has not gotten Freemius SSO information. We are working on improving this aspect of integration, and will get better soon, but for now, try to logout and login again.
