Hello,

We have two types of memberships on our website and members’ access to forums depends upon the type of their membership. Is there any way to restrict the search to only the forums that they have access to?

So far I have the lite version of the GD Power Search plugin installed, but I can go for the premium version if it fulfills my requirement.

Hi,

Since there are no universal ways to handle memberships in WordPress, there is no way for my plugin to know what is the user allowed or not. But, the plugin has a way of providing (via some custom code) limitation capability for the available forums for every user. With this custom code, you can specify allowed forums IDs. So, the code would need to call a function from your membership plugin that will provide list of forums that are allowed for a user. I am not sure if your membership plugin has that, but they usually provide a way to get something like that.
