Hi there,

Apologies if this is something that has been covered already, but I couldn’t find anything that quite answered my question.

I have a client with a membership site. They are using bbPress for their member forums and I’ve included the Attachments plugin so members can upload items to their messages.

I’ve been able to restrict access to certain posts, but the concern is that if someone has the URL for the attachment, they can access it and bypass the login restriction. Is there a way to restrict attachments that are uploaded to bbPress?

No, this can’t be done. Plugin uses WordPress Media Library to store attachments, and it doesn’t have any way to restrict access.
