Users to upload images in posts

I’d like to enable our users to upload images to include in their posts – not as attachments but embedded.
What I don’t want is that the users can see the entire media library that I, as an admin, can see when I use the add media button.

Do regular users see the entire library?

    Hi,

Each file in the library is owned by the user that uploaded the file, and other users can’t see other files than own (that is how the media library behaves). I am not sure how this question is related to GD bbPress Attachments, that plugin is for adding attachments, it doesn’t have features for embedding the files in the content.

GD bbPress Toolbox Pro (used on this website also, so you can test it), has many different attachments upload, and upload form has ‘insert into content’ button, to embed the file in the content. And, if the file is added to the content, it can be hidden from the attachments area.

    Regards
    Milan

Thanks. I’ll test out what a user account sees on the Add Media – I realize that isn’t really part of this plugin now and appreciate your answer.
The attach file and include works fine, of course.
