What is the best plugin to use for private messaging in bbpress?

Hi,

I am not aware of any decent bbPress private messaging plugins that are properly maintained. I have an idea for such plugin, but I don’t have enough free time for a new plugin right now. Currently, I can only recommend BuddyPress. It does have a lot of features that you might not need, but it has a module for private messaging.
